School bus, car collision leaves 30 injured

Thirty students were injured and admitted to Kegalle hospital after a private school transport bus collided with a car and toppled at Endurapotha bend on the Kegalla - Kurunegala main road yesterday morning.

The bus plying from Polgahawela to Kegalle with 40 students collided with an oncoming car and then veered away from the road and turned turtle, Police reported.

The two drivers were among the injured. Kegalle police are investigating.
