The new Visa application centre of the British High Commission was opened recently at level five Access Towers, Union Place Colombo 2.

British High Commissioner Mark Gooding opened it.

Speaking at the event, the High Commissioner said there are improved new facilities including a premium lounge as the High Commission considers the Visa application office as an important operation.

It shows the commitment of the UK Border Agency and its commercial partner VFS Global to visa customers here and the Maldives to provide an enhanced and smooth customer service.
