Sivagnanasothy said.
Addressing a gathering of more than 500 craftsmen and women from all parts of the country at the Mihilaka Medura at the BMICH, he said by upgrading capacity building through workshops like this would enable the crafts persons to improve the quality of their products and life too.
He said the National Design Centre along with the National Craft Centre conducts training programs in 132 training centres which improves the skills of craftsmen and enhance the quality of the employable workforce of the country.
